My Favourite Songs

As Salaamu 'alaykum and peace to all,

Here are the two of my favourite song that realy meaningful to me. The first song, title Queen of the Land by Islamic Liberated Mind( 3ILM), a nasyeed group from Europe. This song about the important of hijab amongst the muslim woman.

The second song title Look Into My Eyes, by Outlandish, a nasyed group from Denmark. This song related to the Palestine issue.

Queen of the Land (Ft. D-Clique)
by 3ILM

Bridge:
(D-Clique)
Promises are never the same
you take yourself out of the equation
love, tears, and patience
trials and tribulations
with you we spread this message
we're defined by your presence
and your voice is a lesson
as you guide us to a greater blessin

Verse 1:
(Adeeb)
Your hijab is the chest and your beauty is the treasure
don't wear it for the people cuz they change like the weather
don't let them get the best of you and fall under pressure
just wear it for Allah cuz good deeds last forever
put your faith in Allah and everything will be better
and so i wrote this letter, i had to let you know
when you struggle for Allah your heart can only grow
put your life in slow mo, and ask yourself a question
is wearing the hijab a punishment or a blessin
and the troubles of this world
i know they got you stressin
but if you don't wear it sister go and pray
cuz maybe one day if you try you can make a change
you are the future mothers of the future generation
hold the ax to break the barriers that muslims keep facin
so sister sister you're the queen of the land
don't lose yourself you got Islam in your hands

Chorus:
(D-Clique)
Oh my sister please don't forget
your guidance is our blessin while your presence is our strength
you are the soul of all the land
your voice has been a sound of reason time and time again
and they might judge the way you live
but they can't see intelligence
just stay true to who you are
in your heart, in your heart

Verse 2:
(Sajid)
All some people wanna do is look, glare, and stare at you
rude and not fair how dare they be telling you
to confess that you're oppressed and your uneducated
cuz they say the way you're dressed makes you unliberated
frustrated cuz the word liberated shouldn't be stated
describing all these women who are raped and subjugated
still they think that you're forced and you got no voice
they think you dressing in hijab ain't your choice
lemme break it down all my sisters know the reason why
they strive to comply cuz they never defy the Most High
and your hijab, it looks elegant
but that's irrelevant i'll tell you what's evident
you rep for the deen
you never let social pressure get between
your tightness with the Lord that's what I've seen
the most respect sister you know you're down for the cause
and the role that you play
MashaAllha yall

Chorus:
(D-Clique)
Oh my sister please don't forget
your guidance is our blessin while your presence is our strength
you are the soul of all the land
your voice has been a sound of reason time and time again
and they might judge the way you live
but they can't see intelligence
just stay true to who you are
in your heart, in your heart

Verse 3:
(Aziz)
This goes out to my sisters whom i truly admire
your intelligence your mind and the modest attire
covering your beauty thus curbing men's desire
your confident appeal MashaAllah that's fire
your hijab your resolve your love achieved
your intellect, wisdom, never gettin deceived
the taunts the jeers the stares the lears
gain patience from Allah whom you hold so dear
despite insolence there's of disbelief and pity
you're the queens of Islam and that goes so fitting
front runners in leading the Islamic cause
and for that my sister you deserve an applause
pearls are hard to find and sister so are you
more precious than diamonds and you know that's true
stay firm and be proud of who you are
cuz you a true muslimah
Allahuakbar

Chorus:
(D-Clique)
Oh my sister please don't forget
your guidance is our blessin while your presence is our strength
you are the soul of all the land
your voice has been a sound of reason time and time again
and they might judge the way you live
but they can't see intelligence
just stay true to who you are
in your heart, in your heart

(Jawad)
and oh my sister please don't forget
that you're the heart and soul of all the land
and in your eyes we stay
in your eyes Islam will stay alive

Outlandish - Look Into My Eyes

Tell me what you see
You don't see a damn thing
'cause you can't relate to me
You're blinded by our differences
My life makes no sense to you
I'm the persecuted one
You're the red, white and blue

Each day you wake in tranquility
No fears to cross your eyes
Each day I wake in gratitude
Thanking God He let me rise
You worry about your education
And the bills you have to pay
I worry about my vulnerable life
And if I'll survive another day
Your biggest fear is getting a ticket
As you cruise your Cadillac
My fear is that the tank that has just left
Will turn around and come back

Yet, do you know the truth of where your money goes?
Do you let your media deceive your mind?
Is this a truth nobody, nobody, nobody knows
Has our world gone all blind?

Do you know the truth of where your money goes?
Do you let your media deceive your mind?
Is this a truth nobody, nobody, nobody knows?
Someone tell me...

Ooohh, let's not cry tonight
I promise you one day it's through
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters
Ooohh, shine a light for every soul that ain't with us no more
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters

See I've known terror for quite some time
57 years so cruel
Terror breathes the air I breathe
It's the checkpoint on my way to school
Terror is the robbery of my land
And the torture of my mother
The imprisonment of my innocent father
The bullet in my baby brother
The bulldozers and the tanks
The gases and the guns
The bombs that fall outside my door
All due to your funds
You blame me for defending myself
Against the ways of my enemies
I'm terrorized in my own land
But am I the terrorist?

Yet, do you know the truth of where your money goes?
Do you let your media deceive your mind?
Is this a truth nobody, nobody, nobody knows
Has our world gone all blind?

Do you know the truth of where your money goes?
Do you let your media deceive your mind?
Is this a truth nobody, nobody, nobody knows?
Someone tell me...

Ooohh, let's not cry tonight, I promise you one day it's through
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters,
Ooohh, shine a light for every soul that ain't with us no more
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters,

America, do you realize that the taxes that you pay
Feed the forces that traumatize my every living day
So if I won't be here tomorrow
It's written in my fate
May the future bring a brighter day
The end of our wait

(pause)

Ooohh, let's not cry tonight, I promise you one day it's through
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters,
Ooohh, shine a light for every soul that ain't with us no more
Ohh my brothers, Ohh my sisters,

Ohh let's not cry tonight I promise you one day is through
Ohh my brothers! Ohh my sisters!
Ooh shine a light for every Soul that ain't with us no more
Ohh my brothers! Ohh my sisters!
