First Time Used Fenix 3 HR for Running

Assalamualaikum and hi all,

This post is quick review of my previous running event, SP Half Marathon 2016 on September 10 2016. This was about 2 weeks ago, but only today I've mood to write. This was not my first SP half Marathon, instead the third time. The last two was in 2013 and 2014.

Since the i joined this SP Half Marathon since 2013, there is no major change of route. The route for 2016 still follow the previous route except some minor changes at the end. Started at Dataran Zero Jam Besar, the runner passed through Jalan Sungai Layar and then entered Jalan Lencongan Barat. After u-turn at traffic light near Giant Hypermarket, runner followed Jalan Kampung Sungai Jagung. After passed through Jalam Taman Orkind and Jalan Sungai Layar, the marathon end at Dataran Zero.

As for me, I improved my performance with the time 3:01:38. This is individually good for me but if compared with the rest, this far than normal average people who finished mostly within 2 and half hour. I ran maintained the pace within 10km but then have to reduce my speed due to the pain on my feet.

What make this SP Half Marathon different from others running events I've joined was for the first time ever I used the sportwatch to track my performance. I used the Garmin Fenix 3 HR which I bought a week before to track my pace, time and other running related analysis. Of course, having this watch will not improve my performance but at least it give the chance to improve by trying to beat my best recorded time and improve fitness. Like all the Garmin product, Fenix 3HR can be connect to Garmin Connect to  download my performance data to laptop or smartphone.

Data uploaded to Laptop showed my running information during the SP Half Marathon 2016

Insya-Allah, if I've time I will write review on Garmin Fenix 3 HR, Garmin Connect and what running analysis that we can monitor.

Larian Sempena Merdeka

It helps a lot especially in term of breathing and disebabkan swimming use whole part of body, so my foot strength also improve.

Satu lagi factor mungkin keselesaan shoes and apparel yang saya gunakan. Design shoes memang fit kaki saya dan cushion pun sedap especially bila kasut hit the ground. Seluar pula, ni first time saya pakai seluar khas untuk running. Dulu lari pakai seluar ni pernah melecek paha.haha....At the moment, memang saya akan fix to brand karimor untuk my running apparels and shoes.

Ada elevation I guess about 30 degrees. Terpaksa slowkan pace.

Sebab dah lewat malam and malas nak tunggu hingga cabutan bertuah, maka saya balik awal. Rakan sekerja saya memang cabutan bertuah hadiah utama sebuah skuter vespa. Memang bertuah yo!!!

Akhir kata dari saya,
Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan Malaysia ke 59

What To Do If You Want Get Married - But Not Enough Money?

Hello guys..

Suddenly this topic come out from my mind..yeahh..What to do if you want get married but not enough money? this is especially for men. ya like me.  Relaxlah!!!

Being unmarried at this age, partly due to the responsibilities - I still have little brothers in college and school which somehow need my financial assistant. So, for the last five years, getting married was not in my mind. Other than that, being single of this age due to my own fault. Within last 5 years, my life goes up and down, looking forward what I want in my life, somehow wasted my time regretting my past, changing job, unemployed for few times and even goes depression. So, definitely during this time, married was not a plan. However, those bad moments taught me a lot.

While many of my friends already married and have kids, I am still living alone- always wondering what if feel to have wife and kids. I am planning to get married next two years, but is it possible for me especially in term of financial capability?

Though its not religious requirement to spend a lot money for marriage, but looking to current trend, it hardly to find any women/family who don't want to have wedding ceremony - at least the moderate ceremony where you have to invite relatives and people surrounding your neighborhood. So, some spending required. At least I should spent few Ks for wedding, hantaran whatsoever. I assume that I personally required 25K for hantaran+mas kahwin (15K) and kenduri (10K). That's just my planning, though I am still don't have candidate for marriage yet.

Let say my estimation of 25K is true, will I able to get married after two years?. Let see. So, what to do if I really want to get married next two years, but still don't have enough money (25K). Here the options:

1.  Saving - I currently can save RM 700 per month from income as EHS Engineer. Let say I wanna married by next two years (August 2018), I could keep the money from this saving, RM 700x24 months = RM 16800.00. Still not enough.

2. Bank Loan - From the saving, I need approximately 10K to reach 25K. I could apply personal loan 10K from bank. Let say, I get personal loan 10K from Bank Rakyat, the monthly payment schedule RM 200-300 for the duration 4-5 years. It's look good but for the next 4-5 years, as I have children, this repayment amount could be a burden to me. Unless, if my salary growth more that amount by the time.

3. Loan from Family & Friends - This is impossible option as my family is not rich. My sibling working just enough for their own. Friends? Definitely I will not asking from them.

4. Looking for women that accept low hantaran - This could be possible, but hardly to find. Hantaran now, at least in Penang (where I live) more than 10K even for SPM leaver. If I could find someone who don't mind how much the hantaran, then that will be opportunity for me to get married as plan. I could give 6K, with remaining 10K for wedding ceremony.

Will see. At this moment, I am still looking for partner and hope to meet my jodoh soon.

5. Installment for hantaran - Let say women family asking for 10K. If they agreed, I only provide the 6K during the wedding while the remaining of 4K is payment monthly installment after the marriage.hahaha..This is possible but I guess hardly to find any girl who agreed with this

6. Postpone- Last option is to postponed my planning until August 2019. By this time my saving will enough 25K (RM 700X36 months = RM 25200). But by 2019 the cost of wedding could be more - as cost of food could increase.

Hahaha..if you reading this post, thank you. I just write my dream. Please pray for me.
